NAME: Ronny Yu, Yu Yan Tai

Ronny Yu is known to Hong Kong film fans primarily for one movie: "The Bride With White Hair."  The film impressed many, including the producers of "Hercules: The Legendary Journey Continues."  This film inspired them to create a new character for their show, Xena: Warrior Princess.  Ronny Yu jumped into the Hollywood arena with the kiddie flick, "Warriors of Virtue," in 1997.  However, it was a big bomb.  Despite this setback, he directed a hit film in 1999 which was praised for its direction: "Bride of Chucky."
